Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to book in advance?
A reservation is recommended, but spontaneous bookings on site are always possible – subject to availability, of course.
How do I pay?
Payment is accepted in cash only, at the time of pickup.
Do you deliver bikes?
No, we do not offer a delivery service. Bikes must be picked up and returned at the Aktivhof.
Is there parking nearby?
Yes, there are both free and paid parking options in close proximity.
Can I pick up early or return late?
Early pickup the evening before or late return is possible upon request. Just let us know.
Can I attach trailers to e-bikes?
No, trailers (bike trailers, dog trailers, and child trailers) are only available for regular bikes, not for e-bikes.
Does the cargo e-bike have a Maxi-Cosi mount?
No, the cargo e-bike does not have a Maxi-Cosi mount. However, it is equipped with seat belts to secure children.
What happens if I get a flat tire or breakdown?
We do not offer a roadside repair service. In case of a breakdown, please contact us so we can discuss the best course of action. Typically, you can have the bike repaired locally and we will reimburse the cost upon presentation of the receipt – or you can return the bike and receive a replacement.
